“Growing up my father loved taking the family on road trips. He prioritized quality time with the family. These trips helped fuel my lust for adventure. We would visit my relatives in Toronto quite frequently.
Traveling was a passion that Don and I both shared. As we started to have a family of our own we would take them along on trips and vacations just as my father did with me.
I was always hopeful that my children would grow up as Don and I did, with the same ideals and motivations to work hard and do something impactful to better this world. I had the children try many different activities. They would learn how to scuba dive, horseback ride, and practice art. I always wanted my kids to be independent and strong and these trips were a way of building that foundation in them. Where they were free to explore and try new things.”
