Bali and Southeast Asia

Continuing from their journey in Indonesia Glorya and her friend Rita Spina carried on with their journey of healing.

There were a lot of quiet and beautiful places to reflect and think. Glorya was enchanted by the country and admired the art style in Bali immensely; the tapestries, bold colors, and patterns really resonated with her. There was art everywhere.

Ten years earlier both Rita and Larry had come from New York to be with Glorya, after the tragic passing of Don. They stayed with her and nurtured her in so many ways. They truly changed the course of Glorya’s life.

“Rita was a psychologist and she and Larry stayed with me for two weeks. They did not let me do the same things I would do with Don. They had me change my old patterns. If there was a restaurant or place I used to visit with Don then I had to stop. I visited new places that were not filled with painful memories of the life I once shared. This was a great lesson for me, and I grew a lot with their love and support.”
