Argentina and Brazil
Glorya took this trip to Argentina with a friend who was a very talented tango dancer. Once there, they saw a common scene of dancing in the streets. Their next stop on this journey was to Brazil. There they witnessed the dazzling colors of Carnival. Glorya had never seen such ornate and imaginative costumes like those of Carnival. All ages, colors, and sizes parading in their most creative costumes. Nothing was considered too much.
“There were hundreds of floats lined up and I could sit there for hours just watching all the colors and creativity. They worked so hard to create this magic. They would start working on their costumes for next year the day after Carnival. Something that spectacular is impossible to describe.”
